About Us
Our Story
Welcome to Intertwined Organic Acres! We’re a small, family-owned farm in the beautiful countryside of southwestern Minnesota. We’re Rick and Becky, and together with two of our sons, Anthony and Dominic, we raise organically fed Red Angus beef and pork right here on our acreage.
This farm has been in our family for years—Rick grew up here when it was still a conventional crop and dairy operation. However, in 2004, we decided to take a different path for our farm and become certified organic. It was a big shift, but it felt right. We wanted to farm in a way that was healthier for the soil, kinder to our animals, and better for the food we put on our family’s table.
For many years, we ran a certified organic dairy. However, with our sons stepping up and getting more involved, we felt it was time for a new chapter. We sold our milking herd and expanded our Red Angus beef herd.
Today, we grow our own crops, care for our animals, and manage our pastures according to strict organic standards. That means no hormones, antibiotics, GMO seeds, or synthetic chemicals. Our cattle graze on pasture during the growing season and are fed high-quality organic hay and feed through the colder months—all of which we grow and prepare ourselves.
We believe that good farming leads to great food. When animals are raised naturally—on clean, organic land, with plenty of sunshine, fresh air, and space to roam—the result is wholesome, healthy meat that we’re proud to share.
At the heart of it all, we’re a family farm. And as the next generation takes on more and more, we’re proud to carry this way of life forward. For us, it’s not just about raising animals—it’s about doing things the right way, for our land, our livestock, and the people we’re grateful to feed. To see what we offer, visit our Products page.
